This is the second year that we've had a male and female arrive and they'll stay until it starts getting too warm for them.

You can easily tell the male from the Annas or Rufous' because they're the smallest hummer in the U.S. Also, they have noticeable stripes on their throat (gorget). The only way I can tell a female is by her smaller size.
