A good friend of mine showed his model to me many years back and it looked possible to me to make one myself. I derived great pleasure in searching for stiff SS rods - I tell you, cutting and bending to precision was a real tough job. The wire was really hard. Then I thought of copper instead of SS. For places where it folds up like a hinge, I cut up copper plate pieces and bent it up. Overall, it gave me satisfaction in making it, but I'm unhappy that I'm not able to use it for its purpose by which time computer had made its entry!!
