Venue, your yard remind's me of mine small ,quiet, and cozy. I have one problem in my back yard. That area in which I was standing to take that first pic. That area floods when we get a lot of constant hard rain. SO I have a difficult time finding plants that can withstand being under water or water logged for a few days.Then it gets dry in summer. Here is a pic of where I was standing to take that picture during one of those floods.
