IrisMa, it is so funny how much cooler we are in the spring than you. Gulf stream. Logistics with one kid is difficult enough for us, hate to try to catch up with more, like you. But if they weren't independent they might still all be living at home with you!

Robin, crossed posted, you got a great bunch of work done. We need to prune more roses as soon as we finish our Big Dig, but DH got the biggest mass of rosa rugosa cut back last week. He is still complaining about thorns in his hands. He had on heavy leather gloves. He can't find the thorns, but he sure can feel them. Like cactus. Here he is about 1/3 done on the 26th. I think he made up the part about putting some of the sod in the hole upside down. Patti
