Had about 12 inches of snow last night (hear it is headed East!) and the newly arrived hummers are not particularly happy about it. They are not all back, but this male Rufus was hungry, so fluffed up against the cold and mostly sat and ate.
My Oregon juncos are all still here, but I expect most of them to be leaving soon. A few stay and nest here. Not much action this week, kind of between the migrations. Should expect summer residents soon.
