A couple of years ago, you gave me an Alpine Strawberry plant. I planted it in a very large pot and it did OK last year--even though it did not make too many strawberries....

It gets decent sun until early-late afternoon--then my neighbor's tree shades it.
The reason it is in a pot is so I could put it where it WOULD get some sun...

It looked totally dead all winter this year--understandably....And I "know" that Strawberries fruit on new growth and the old ones die off...yes?
This is all the new growth it has put out as of today.....Does this look right to you?

Me thinks it is a gonner!!! I just think it should have more green growth by now...we have had so many warm days....
