Propagation: can this flap jack be cut up at each root section?, 1 by cheerpeople

I'm curious if I could grow more faster by cutting these apart , like cutting cookies off a roll of dough and planting them?
If so would I plant them standing on end or flat to the soil. Would root hormone help? Would I want them to callous a few days first?

My first and only flap jack- so advice is nice...
