I read somewhere that if you cut back an oxalis and bring it indoors like a houseplant, it should do well with minimal care, like indirect light and water. During the season outdoors - my yellow varieties do very well in part shade and almost full shade, also morning sun. They look great beside hostas.

The purple I find more difficult and it doesn't bloom as much outdoors, but indoors, does just fine.
