It may be confused and hard to tell what it will look like until it opens, but rain will do amazing things for bulbs....nothing like it, nitrogen fixing in mid-air and low barometric pressure--best fertilizer on the planet (and literally produced by the planet) for bulbs. crinums and rain lilies are espiecially responsive to rain, although my species glads are also sending up scapes too.
