Last year I lost the previous magnolia to a late freeze. They don't generally recover well from that. I replaced it with a later blooming variety. I'll just keep my fingers crossed! Willow, I'm with you! Generally, I keep my mouth shut about the things I see and know. I occasionally forget and make a slip up, and then people give me the strangest looks! Also agree that the spelling mistake make me guffaw out loud! What is observable to one is not necessarily observable to another. And that's without the drugs! If I added drugs to the mix, it would definitely not be a good idea. It's been over 30 years since I tried anything like that. Tills, you are right. Each experiences in his own way. We had snow this morning, but I didn't get photos. It didn't really last long enough to get anything. So instead, here is a photo taken a few nights ago. I was out in the yard and looked up and saw this pink and blue sky with the almost-full moon. Had to take a few shots. 5 minutes later, it was gone. The sky was completely covered with clouds and no moon was visible. |
