Two days ago I removed the nest cam from the slotted box and installed it in the Gilbertson. Since it has a flat roof, I drilled a 2 1/2 inch hole in the roof and mounted the camera on the top, looking into the hole. Then I got a 3 inch PVC cap, cut it down and attached it over the camera, cauked it as well as I could and everything is working well so far.

My biggest problem is location. The nestbox is just 3 feet outside the dining room window and about 4 feet outside the kitchen window. If I shoot through either window I have to step back and my wife is already making noises about my cameras being in "her" kitchen. Guess I'll have to buy her some more flowers. :-)
