Chantell, lucky your hyacinths, they only last here 1-3 years if you're lucky. First year fine, next year bloom almost comes out of the ground :(

Tropical Rhododendron--no thanks! I'll take my free blooming wild azeleas down in my streambed any day. Down in my little valley it's like walking a shady perfumed trail of 6-12' trees on different shades of pink, enhanced by the dogwood blooms. I am SO going to miss it this year :(
