The nice thing about traveling the ferry is with a kayak or bike or scooter you can get off and back on at no additional cost. Each place has its millions of trails to hike, fishing to do, food to eat, beers to drink, beaches and parks to camp in and scenery that will blow you mind. You have to get away from the tourist traps and see Alaska. During the trip you need to make friends with people and read, write or do arithmetic. Sorry I was not trying to give you a hard time Susan. I apologise. This is a short kayak trip that I went on with some people from Juneau. Caught a salmon and cooked it on the beach over a bottle of Pino Grigeo. |
