But we didn't spend too much- I think the beer cost more. The bird -- it might be a golden-crown sparrow --- Zonotrichia atricapilla -- they were around up here this winter. Bug Alert! Went out to check on some wild mahonia that needs to be moved or else the power co. will destroy it -- they have a clear cutting chipping rig that cleared 2 neighbors away area under the high wires in Jan.- and there is a soft needle pine with the southwest (edit-don't know directions) bottom limb filled with tent-caterpillars.
