Joseph on an other thread try to clip MG on the Japan mode , very early in the live of the plant ( to make a petunia LOL ) that increase the size of the bloom ( see the Japanese exhibitions ) .

Or later , when the plants are 2 ' high .I use to clip my plants because it make that the plants looks stronger. But when we see the Kyushu University garden they don't clip they plants ! or later
