Remember all the naked ladies I dug up and gave you all????

I kept 3 pots for myself......still have to find a place i could plant them.....:o(

That may be an issue--as they do take up a lot of room. However--they all bloomed, last fall, in these same pots. I know there are at least 3-4 good-sized bulbs in each one....

Now--they are in their second season in these pots and starting to grow.....
If all else fails--I will plant them in my neighbor's bed (NOT the one I dug them all out of!) that face my house. They never walk far enough around the house to pay attention to this bed--but it runs the width of their house, gets full sun most of the day and doesn't really have much of anything in it, except a large Rhodo and a beautiful Hydrangia at one end. I can plant anything i want in there--I know it! They love it!

Last year, I planted my clump of Elephant Ears in there. Hope they survived--as my neighbors never dug them up nor mulched them....I guess it was up to me--but I did not either.....He is not motivated---and She is forever in pain, from something or other, and now is still recovering from back surgery. She is also quite overweight and cannot/does not want to deal with gardening.....I love her dearly--but I am not too patient with her planting all kinds of veggies and Peppers, and Potatoes and Tomatoes every year--and then never bothering to water them or care for them.....

Our homes here are almost side-by-side--so I get frustrated......

Every year--they go to Spain (that's where they are from) for 6 weeks and leave everything for me--and the other side neighbor--to care for, and I do it willingly and lovingly--in addition to my own garden.
Then they come home---everything is nicely cared for and green and growing--and so I (we) stop the caring and watering--and they never continue it. It is like a slap in the face.....as I watch everything wither and die.....

Well--at least I get to pick all the yummy Figs I want from their huge Fig Tree and eat them.....if I can beat the ants and the yellow jackets and the birds to them.....

Geez! This really got me on a "roll".......Have to contain myself.....

So--here are the pots of the naked ladies starting with their foliage growth.

I have these pots sitting on the stumps of the Birch tree I had cut down last fall......
