Yes the pink is insulation .Caulked and sealed to hold water
Under the FRP holes is 2 pieces of 4" pvc With holes in side.I used my miter saw and made several cuts,(carefully)
A scap piece of pink insul. also to hold up FRP is all around bottom chamber walls Next pic will make this clear
