Then I got back to my car and realized that I'd dropped my keys somewhere. Miraculously I found them. I turned around and was walking back to my car when I heard some weird bird screeches. This hawk took off from a perch that had been less than 20 feet from where I'd dropped my keys. If only I had seen him while he was sitting there!
