The heck with jugs. I WS hardy perennials straight into my 3 ftx 6ft coldframe. All need stratificaton and will germinate when conditions are right for the varieties I sowed.

My coldframe is full of the following seeds this year:
Rhus typhina
Echenacia---3 varieties
Callirhoe
Xanthoceras
Asclepias---2 varieties
Iris and Daylilies from my plants and for fun
Dianthus
Oenothera
Centaurea
Salvia argentea

All were sown in October 2008.
