Mary, the 5 girls in painting class all watch American Idol and then Gray's Anotomy so here and there class would stop so they could view the shows and comment...lots of ohhhh's and ahhhh's going on when they were announcing the individual who would remain...


Went to pay for my wood piece and my class and was told my class which is $75.00 was paid for..said nope I didn't pay for it at registration only gave a deposit..nope, you don't owe for your class..told Carol she'd better check her records..paid for 5 new Genesis brushes which shortly will no longer be made and my woodpiece...

As I walked out of the studio, Diane was getting into her car..I thanked her for my meal (she insisted) and she said "Happy Birthday" and I knew right there what had happened..Diane paid for my class as a gift...

Last night we based the insert panel with oils - now they must cure in the oven (don't cook food but can I cook my paintings...) lol .. so in the next week or 2, I must find a nice color for the table and get it stained and varnished..we base coated our panel, mixed all our heat set oil paint colors for the project...set color highlight and shading where needed and homeward bound...

I was up till 1:00, couldn't sleep knowing Missy was outside..she's out all spring/summer/fall but it's cold out there and she has been inside so would be worried..

With getting up at 5:00am this morning, I know I'll be tired and glad we're off at 3:00 pm... maybe I can snooze at the office today...

Here is the table I'm doing with the insert in waiting for me to start painting next week...
