The Vib that I ordered has the great scent of V. carlesii but it is suppose to be a bigger shrub with fuzzy leaves, but with the same great red late fall color. ( here is V. carlesii on Nov. 8th last fall) Viburnum x carlcephalum is a hybrid of V. carlesii and V. macrocephalum var. keteleeri and comes highly recommended by Todd Boland on DG who is always a wealth of information.
