Hint. In the shrub department I ordered a few Hamamelis, a Sambucus, a Buddleja, a Vib, a Clethra, a Corylopsis, and a Vitex. I adore vitex. Here is a photo of one on Aug 11 of last year in my most messy bed, but this year will be different! Vitex leaf out late, but they bloom at a time that I need things. And then I found some perennials that I had to have, mostly white or blues and one unusual yellow allium. I had been looking at there stuff for months.

Now do I dare go to work on Forest Farm order today? The rational: I found my long lost glasses that I was about to replace plus in the same pocket some "pin money" I had put aside for Xmas gifts that I didn't spend. I hadn't worn that Jacket since early Dec. It was in the pile of stuff I was about to take to the recycle. And to diminish the my guilt more, my DH told me he bought new skis yesterday. He needed them, as the old ones were almost antiques. I shouldn't buy any more plants this year, but then again I stayed home this week and have been eating leftovers and not one glass of wine! Patti
