Maybe you are thinking of rex begonias as they tend to be smaller. I can't grow them because of our heat. Cane begonias do great in the fall and early spring here. I haven't posted any of the blooms yet........waiting until they are covered in blooms. I have to cut all my canes back to the base each winter so I can make room for them on the front porch during the winter. They can get humongous .
