It is very similar to a sampler quilt in that each month you make a block in a pattern they give you along with fabric they have chosen. At the end of the year you have twelve blocks to put together however you want . A large quilt, some table runners etc. Below is a picture of my first year doing this. Now I'm on year three. You learn so much about technique, shortcuts etc. I love the experience and seeing how different people put the quilts together.
