It is indiginous to Madagascar, so I put a thread in the Tropical Zone Gardening, hoping they may have some info on germinating the seed inside of it... apparently these plants can grow in extreme hot tempuratures, and are seen in california and sometimes florida, which is where I was when it hitched a ride on the back of my sweater....

heres a pic of it.. I have found lots of info on how to propogate one from a stem of a exsisting plant, but so far no info on how to germinate from the pod, or the seed in the pod.
