Anyway, in my previous post I mentioned I saw the 3 birds at our local park in Lincoln...which has more trees, like pines and evergreens. The park is only about 5-6 miles from our home. The likelihood I'd see any of those birds in our yard or neighborhood is slim to none...
Unless one lives very near the parks...there are very few trees that would interest Nuthatches, Chickadees, Titmouse, or Red-Bellied Woodpeckers.
We did have a Downy Woodpecker visit our yard once in December...but never came back :(
