Pat - glad you like Sam's fashionable crew cut! As to what kind of bird bath I like, well I've attached a photo of one of my three terra cotta pot bird baths. I like to have them low to the ground for all the birds that come as well as all my neighborhood cat visitors who come to slurp in comfort. They are easy to take apart and store in our shed when we leave. In NH I have a taller cast iron birdbath that my DH gave me for my birthday. The only negative about that is that I have to scrub it whenever I fill it. It gets some sort of orange junk on it. Maybe our well water has too much iron in it.
