It's still pretty and a good example of what can happen. I know people who when they get a particularly good strain of a fantasy violet, will propagate like a chimera to preserve it. I had a Rebel's Splatter Kake like that. The offspring from leaves planted were never quite as nice as the mother plant for some reason. The dark blue variety (sport) of RSK is called Rebel's Night Breezes. On Bristol's Very Berry. I love the way the outer edges and flower reverse are coral and the inner color is fuschia. My photo doesn't show that as well as in person. I will save you a leaf cutting, Gail and Jannich if you want one. And, I will propagate more as I like this one. Rebels Splatter Kake - |
