Ahh yes, forget me knots would be a classic. I was also thinking on the lines of tulips and daffs. They could be planted in the grass area of the gravesite and yet be mowed later for maintainance. We are still looking into the rules of the cemetary for our hope of future plantings. Most cemetaries want it these days pretty much mow and go...no pruning and cleanup of other kinds unless permission granted or the family does it.

Ahhh.. hostas!! they would be good ones too!
