Forms large clumps--3ft wide. The blooms are short lived, but keep coming for months. Mine start blooming in Nov and bloom into March. Some say the blooms are fragrant, but the fragrance is slight to my nose. Maybe there are selected cultivars that are more fragrant. The clumps shelter snails and slugs which do eat the flowers.
