My #3 Pete the Pyrrhuloxia is the “Gentle Giant” at the feeders; 99% of the time anyway. He had had enough with the House Finch that day. He had just been eyeball to eyeball with one over an apple and he wasn’t giving up on the grape jelly so easy. This photo stays in my mind and is the one that reminds me of your Pelle.
