and I agree with Anjil about lining the driveway edge with a rock garden sort of retaining wall, grow small flowering plans in side the rock edges or cinderblocks, brugs in front of the fence with vines behind would look lovely as well as zinnias, four o' clocks, cardinal flowers, sages and salvias.. in front of the brugs ... what a nice area.. cones and daiseys too.. should I send you what I would plant there?? ( you know I would! ) ;D
