I originally bought them as bare root twigs from a mail order place in Minnesota, but they sure have filled out over the years. With seven, the scent is sometimes over powering. I have another dwarf variety called 'Palibin' near the front door. It has a wonderful fragrance that I really like. It seems more delicate and sweeter than the fragrance from the 'Miss Kim' hedge.
