Many thanks okijaner. I guess I'm doing something right with the "luck of the iris" Kathy. When trying to grow something that isn't typical for our Zone 10 I try to tip the scales in my favor... I guess. That may be trying to find a place in the yard with less direct sun or attempting to grow/start it during the cooler months of winter. I also fertilize things on a regular basis. With Bearded Iris I get the feeling that the Reblooming varieties may be a little less dependent on needing the winter dormancy cycle since they are types that have been bred to rebloom in the fall up North after going through a typical warm summer. Currently I have 3 other reblooming plants that are getting ready to rebloom again in the next week or two. Glad I checked...one of them bloom this morning so I snapped a photo of it. This is Reblooming Bearded Iris "Pink Attraction". This variety has been the most reliable one for me when it comes to blooming.
