My Cassie's Curl that withered and rotted was in a pot...when I threw the plant out I started looking at the soil and saw these wacky deep tan/orange larvae scattered across the top of the soil. As I dug deeper, I found the soil saturated in them, all the way to the bottom. Popped a few in my fingers, just squish came out...They were about the size of a piece of rice. I posted on the Garden Pests ID forum and haven't recieved an answer yet.....Any ideas what these might be? It was only the one pot in the entire greenhouse that had them. The soil was fresh new Miracle Grow potting mix. There were no live bugs anywhere to be found, only the larvae.
