This was to be Raspberry bars but Had no Raspberry jam so I made Dates Bars
Very good just had one
1/2 cup Soft Butter 1/2 cup lite brown sugar 1 cup Flour
1/4 tsp Baking soda 1/8 tsp salt 1cup Rolled oats ( Quacker are just the same and you don't have to use a rolling pin to get rolled)
I used 1 box of choped dates 1 cup of sugar 1 cup water and boiled and make it thick like honey
Heat oven350 degrees In a 8 inch square pan line with Aluminum Foil and than butter
Mix all the ingredients together and press 2 cups of the mixture in the bottom of the pan than spread the Date or jam as the next layer than sprinkle the rest of the flour mixture on top lightly press in to thr mixture
Bake 35 to 40 mintues allow to cool before cutting
