The Moonflower and Blue Star (Tri-color) vines are doing great and still blooming for me! I have at least 3-5 Moonflower blooms every night. And the Blue Star usually has the same number per day! I really do think those two vines grown all around my picket fence patio would look fabulous. I am really considering that for next year! :-) My Hummer is back (from last year) and she is chasing off any visiting Hummers! LOL! Are you seeing any hummers? I am waiting for the Finches to arrive! :-) Love my birdies! I've got lots of butterflies daily too! The high front is moving in and the rain has started. I am watching my male Cardinal sitting in the feeder with the rain pouring down. He loves it when it rains as he gets the entire feeder to himself and will let his mate and youngsters come join him, too! Such a sight! And the hummer hit the feeder as the rain started and I watched her flick the rain drops off her body while in flight! Fall/Winter is the BEST time here for critters! :-) Here is a Moonflower just opening up taken last night! |
