So this morning I got an egg that was different than usual. My girls haven't been laying much lately, probably due to day length, and I have a bunch on the verge of laying. These are today's eggs. The middle one is the different one. It is a slightly different shape and also paler color, and smaller. Do you think it is a pullet egg? All the hens I have that lay at the moment I received as adults so I don't know pullet eggs. I just know that this egg is noticeably different. The color in this pic is not 100% accurate - it really is quite a bit paler than the others. Plus it is more pointy at the one end whereas the others are rounder.

It could also be an older hen that just isn't laying often I guess.
