To explain: We got married two years ago, but my rings are custom made. They finished my rings about a moth after we got married, but the same day I got laid off. Then we decided that I needed to stay home to be there for my Step-daughter. So, living off one income we haven't been in a position to do more than make a token payment since then, but we got a settlement today and the first thing we did was buy our rings.

I went with a non-traditional wedding ring, but it's perfect for me. It's a star sapphire and silver. Here's a picture.
