Aw, I'm sorry Sofer. Must be the price you pay for that constant rocky mountain high you get all spring and summer. Plus, look at it this way: we're still slaving away in the gardens. Your garden work is slowing down.

Gordon, my envy runneth over!! I cannot BELIEVE you are getting B. sanguinea to bloom. It just nails home how much more sunshine people get when they are not completely surrounded by tall fir trees, and how that benefits plant growth for them. Huge surprise there.

I moved my brugs into the greenhouse. I'm trying to keep them from gowing completely dormant. It's working so far. I got a bloom on my variegated one! Bought this in a 4" pot this year. The smell is outstanding in the evening. After the lights have been off for awhile, I go in and the smell has permeated the greenhouse. It's a little bit of heaven when it's raining and cold outside.
My other two were covered with buds when I moved them in, but they resented the change in atmosphere and suffered bud drop. Not completely, but I don't know if the buds that are left will develop. On the other hand, no leave drop at all, so I remain hopeful.

Just need to stamp around the kitchen a bit to get this B. sanguinea envy out of my body.
