Another FYI... I'm trying my best to brainstorm and get ready for winter sowing... (been picking Deborah's brain for months now, she'll be so proud of me)... I've been trying to come up with a way to have separate little greenhouses for some of my seeds... rather than scatter them in a flat, and thin them out.
So, this is what I've come up with... Walmart has these little 5oz plastic cups, 80ct for $1.87. Plus, we do drink an awful lot of bottled water, and I've been eyeing them for quite some time now, just knowing there was a way to repurpose them. I found that if I cut them in half, at the curve in the middle, they make two domes over the little 5oz cups... the bottom section of the bottle slips inside pretty snuggly... but the top part of the bottle has to be taped in place. I've also found that the blue painter's tape weathers well.
Just passing this along... I'm sure I'm not the first to think of it... but I do love it when I get one of those "light bulb" moments.
