But the soil is gradually getting tired and the clay is creeping upwards, I've noticed. Here, the Oxalis siliquosa 'Copper Sunset' inches down to meet my ubiquitous purple bearded iris and the variegated aucuba 'Gold Dust'. These iris have no scent, but they are prolific growers and rebloom two or three times a year! I love the dark purple color.
