So.. that's how it shakes out.. maybe a bit more than I was imagening at the onset.. but it's about twice as nice and 3 times as durable as I was thinking it would be.. guess it was mostly a research projecct for light minimal framing technique.. now for the raod tests.. OH and it can be easily disassembled... shipped and reerected...difficult criteria to include in design/construction..plus.. it's VERY LIGHT.. something I pay a premimum for on the roof.. It's 60* F in a light rain...seems quite unnecessary... and totally excessive... said the grasshopper to the Ant.. ( remember your fables ; ) |
