wrote: Our last stop was to pick up Andrew, my son, from school. Lingernot was so enchanted by this niche with the statue of the Blessed Virgin that I had to stop and let him see it. This overlooks Tacoma from the highest point in the city. On a clear day, you can see Mt. Ranier in the distance and it is quite majestic. Unfortunately, there was too much cloud cover (as usual) to see the mountain on this day, but he used his imagination. Andrew attends Bellarmine Preparatory School, as Jesuit prep highschool in Tacoma. Thanks for such a nice visit with Lingernot! My clan is sorry to see him go, but Bea is waiting patiently for her visit, so he flies out tomorrow, snug in his little traveling box. Beahive, my daughter, Claire, works at the Nordstrom in Salem as a personal shopper. If you are ever at Nordstrom, stop in and say hello! She knows I have several gardening buddies down in the Willamette valley. |
