Second to the last stop is the little garden just outside the office door. The hostas are going dormant for the season, but I wanted Lingernot to meet our resident gargoyle, Curmudgeon. He guards the house from evil spirits and does a really good job of it, too! His bark is worse than his bite. Interestingly, Lingernot was not worried about him at all. You can see that one of my gnomes, Samuel, who works in the larger hosta bed, stays well clear of Curmudgeon but Lingernot had a nice conversation right off the bat!
