I believe their ancestors were cave dwellers and this explains their extremely white skin. Through sign language they have told me they moved to the Pacific Northwest because they heard that we never get enough sun to matter. Their skin would be safe here. So far, that has been true. Their home is under a huge big leaf maple tree so even in the summertime, they are in the shade. I assigned them to the garden underneath that tree so they never have to work in the sun. They are very musical and on a quiet day you can hear them singing while they work. |
