JoAnn - speaking of mandevillas......yikes! The two we planted when we left have TAKEN OVER! They choked out the bouganvilleas and the oleander that were in the bed with them. The jury's still out on whether they can be allowed to remain. If we were here year around, it wouldn't be a problem, but to leave them to their own devices during the rainy season....well, I may have underestimated their clever ploys!

The ferns and caladiums, on the other hand, minded their Ps and Qs and just stayed really pretty. Here's a shot of them.....
