needpeachick wrote: Hi this may seem like a crazy question but I am hunting for a young peachick.... The reason I am looking is my hen laid two eggs and I hatched one of them so I have one lonely chick... LIVING IN MY HOUSE!!!! I just don't have the heart to put him outside yet as he is alone and is very much a pet because he has been with us. At night he isn't happy until we let him sleep on our shoulder while we watch TV. I say all that to say this...... this little guy needs one or two other chicks around his age to be raised with outside. He is about 4 weeks old now so I am looking for one close to that age. I know it may be hard to find one because it was so late when the hens laid the eggs but I am looking. I am really hoping to get one or two peachicks that are hens. He is a male. The peacock (his sire) his blackshoulder and hen was indian blue. Ideally I would like a black shoulder hen chick but would honestly take just about anything if you had one or two to sell this late in the year. Kim Picture is of him sitting in my Ficus tree... I am trying to be a good peahen to teach him all he needs to know. |
