Many of the potted ones are inside the screened area around the pool. The advantage with this area is the screening minimizes bug/pest problems. I also like putting them there because when they bloom I can just move the pot and put it right by the sliding glass door for the day and enjoy the blooms from the comfort of the couch. Here are two pictures from yesterday (Mon Oct 27) of a couple of Hibiscus that are planted in the ground. This one is Hibiscus "Nightfire" which didn't bloom much during the summer but has been blooming like crazy the past few weeks.
