Victor, I would have liked to have seen a pic of you and the crapes as well! You make me think that I need to put my sambucus and amsonia together. I'm getting a vision of Sambucus black lace in back, with amsonia in front of it, with ophiopogun nigrescens in front of that. the only problem is that it will be another year or two before the sambucus is taller than the amsonia :-p

the window pic of yours Victor made me think to try this. Not quite the same effect.
